Space(s) for Us
and Others
Our work creates room to explore essential conversations: from asking where you can get the best matcha in Rotterdam to existential reflections and discussing the unspoken realities of womanhood.
We have learned that tweaking and challenging the deeper foundations of spaces we navigate and creating comfortable room for speaking about womanhood, faith and spirituality benefits a wider community. Many of the spaces we navigate - be it cultural, educational or work-related - (unconsciously) depart from or adopt a secular framework. What happens if we gently question this assumption and be surprised by the type of conversations that emerge from there? In times of spiritual deprivation and uncertainty exacerbated by a culture of hyper-individualization and genocides unfolding before our eyes, conversations on faith can offer a breath of fresh air —even if it’s just for a moment.
To deliberately make room for this, we translate the benefits of our community practice to a broader community. We engage in research, develop workshops and facilitate conversations. An example is the workshop My spiritual reminder, a workshop that serves as a guide to spark conversations on meaning-making in the workplace, in communities or educational spaces. One of our early editions took place during Dutch Design Week (2023)
